Delaware Park will race 85 days in 2023, about the same as last year, under a schedule approved Jan. 17 by the state Racing Commission.
Jed Doro, racing secretary at Delaware Park, has been named Director of Racing and will replace the retiring John Mooney in this role.
With racing secretary Jed Doro leaving his position, Delaware Park expects to make do through the end of this season October 20 before hiring a new racing secretary for 2019.
