Race #1 Picks: 10-1-2-7

Race #2 Picks: 3-8-6-7

Race #3 Picks: 6-5-7-2

Race #4 Picks: 7-1-2-4

Race #5 Picks: 2-8-3-4

Race #6 Picks: 1-7-5-2

In this optional claiming/starter allowance race at 6 furlongs, #1 Rad Paisley (8-1) weakened while running two turns in last at Timonium when he was edged out by He’s a Shooter. Now back to one turn  where he had a very strong race at Laurel two races back. We think he will be able to duplicate that race and have him on top. #7 He’s a Shooter (4-1) beat Red Paisley in last and fits very well with these. If he can repeat that race, he has a chance at the top spot. #5 Powerfully Built (2-1) won his first race at Monmouth after being claimed by Ron Abrams. Appears to be in good form and should be able to compete here. #2 Dr. Doyle (8-1) was running well against New Jersey-breds at Monmouth this summer. His speed figures indicate he will be competitive against this group.

Race #7 Picks: 1-6-3-4

In the $100,000 Small Wonder Stakes for Delaware-bred or certified two-year old fillies at 6 furlongs, #1 Bound by Destiny (3-2) has won three straight and already easily defeated several of the other contenders in this event. Anthony Pecoraro has a good one here, and there is no reason to believe she won’t win again today. #6 Skylar’s Sister (5-1) ran a closing third in the Blue Hen. She should improve off that race and is now getting an extra half furlong to work with. We think she will run a good one today. #3 Chickieness (3-1) ran second in the Blue Hen but was no match for Bound by Destiny. She will be fighting for the lead again, but needs to improve off last. #4 Talk to the Judge (8-1) was impressive in her debut with a 3 ¼-length victory and could be involved today.

Race #8 Picks: 5-6-8-1
