Jockey Ryan Fogelsonger went from knowing nothing about horse racing to riding in the Preakness to winning an Eclipse Award in remarkably short time.

The road grew tougher after that, however, as the Maryland native battled injuries and other problems.  Retired — or maybe not — since late last year, Fogelsonger visited with The Racing Biz recently at Pimlico.  In part one of the interview (here), he discussed his two attempts at Preakness glory.
