| 1. Fool for the City | Might go hunting the front from the inside post |
RACE 2
| 1. Talented Lord | Gonna have to go from the inside stall; this one’s lone prior one-turn try was excellent, and last out she left her race behind the starting gate |
| 4. Party Time for Me | Lightly raced sort has plenty of upside; just missed in latest, and this time others may soften up the frontrunners |
| 2. Ran Out of Trainer | Good try in latest and has the speed to be in the mix early against this group |
RACE 3
| 1. Lemonsondesurprise | Arrives off a win and has the speed to control throughout |
| 8. Bull’s Legacy | Not likely to make the front but has run well closing and owns two wins at the trip, though the most recent, last September, was two trainers ago |
| 7. Luzia | Gazzier barn off to a good start to 2025 at CT |
RACE 4
| 5. Pleasenthanku | Fiber Sonde hits with 18% of his first-time starters, and trainer Contreras does the same, and with a positive ROI; note sharp move Feb. 11 that was a full second faster than any other at the distance |
| 4. Miracle Lad | In a race where those with prior starts haven’t shown much, a firster who’s the first foal out of an unraced mare still is worth a look; trainer Walters has a positive ROI with first-time starters |
| 6. Rip N Roll | A little bit outfooted in turnback in latest |
RACE 5
| 7. Prospective Love | Second twice versus similar, including latest when second to good-right-now Hammer, who repeated a level up; rider Reynolds picks this one over other Grams runner |
| 5. Improbable Journey | Interesting to see this former Maker trainee land in the McKee barn; better efforts would win here |
| 2. Sisyphus | Certainly could win but has been off nine months, so caution encouraged |
RACE 6
| 2. Dorado | Floated out upper in latest but stayed on to the end; has finished in the exacta eight straight |
| 5. Patient Capital | Makes first local start for Farrior barn after tries at Laurel, Mahoning Valley; |
| 3. Gabriel Seven | Speed of the speed likely tries to take ’em all the way; last wasn’t bad, as runner that pressed and prevailed was 2-5 |

| 4. King Kontie | Sniffing around at this level and should be the controlling speed; long time since this guy won a race |
| 5. Im the Director | Probably the classiest of the field and that might be enough, but may not be able to go with #4 in the early going and may want more ground regardless; trainer McKee scuffling to start the season but should heat up soon |
| 2. Youthful Energy | Best efforts have come around two turns, though some one-turn efforts compete with these |
RACE 8
| 1. Bali Hai | Lack of early foot a problem in short sprints, but that was greatly exacerbated in latest when she walked out of the gate, though she ran on willingly after; form is clouded by two-turn tries and visit to LRL but she’s run OK doing this and, if she breaks, might be situated not too far off several seeking the front |
| 4. Dolce Veloce | Spurted clear rounding the turn in latest; top three to run back all finished in the triple next out, including one winner |
| 10. Frosty Maya | Not sure where that two-back effort came from but suspect the Beyer fig may be inflated; should be a forward factor but the 10-hole is 0-for-9 this year going 4 1/2 |
