| 5. Duncan Idaho | Figures to be a handful here, and his last three show why: he’s won on the lead, stalking close up, and closing from well out of it; a nose away from a 5-race win streak |
| 4. Time to Rock | Gate issues have foiled him in last two, but he’s still run pretty well; a clean break would make a world of difference |
| 8. Honeyquist | Didn’t run badly in the Jim McKay Turf Sprint and now switches back to main track; a major contender, but he’s lost to the top choice four times in the last year |

| 7. Restless | Went well clear in latest before emptying out; should be near the pace and waiting to pounce |
