John and Frank dig into Saturday’s Late Pick 5 at Laurel Park with a pair of moderately priced tickets. The sequence features two stakes and two allowance races, as well as a maiden contest, and plenty of interesting angles.

The stakes are the Safely Kept for three-year-old fillies and the City of Laurel for three-year-olds. Both are for $100,000, and both will be contested at the one-turn distance of seven furlongs.
