The pre-entry deadline for entering the Maryland Million Day races is Sunday, September 29, 2024, and all horses must be pre-entered to qualify as starters. Purses and nominator awards total more than $1.5 million, making it one of the richest sire-stakes programs in the country.

Highlighting the fall racing season, “Maryland’s Day at the Races” festivities will take place at Laurel Park on Saturday, October 12th. Maryland Million Day will showcase Maryland-sired horses on the card that includes:

•  $100,000 Maryland Million Lassie
•  $100,000 Maryland Million Nursery
•  $125,000 Maryland Million Turf
•  $100,000 Maryland Million Sprint
•  $100,000 Maryland Million Turf Sprint
•  $100,000 Maryland Million Distaff
•  $125,000 Maryland Million Ladies
•  $150,000 Maryland Million Classic
•  $50,000 Maryland Million Starter Handicap
•  $50,000 Maryland Million Distaff Starter Handicap
