5. Tovia	Inclined to draw a line through latest as runner was not asked for best in the lane; two back effort was very good versus rapidly improving Tearduc
7. Ms. Lady T	Makes first start off a lengthy break; one of only two here to have graduated by running into a pace

RACE 2

7. Paper Mansion	Saw eight race win streak snapped in latest when a game second at CNL after throwing down fast fractions; should control pace once again and be tough to reel in
1. Bella Principessa	Has kept pretty good company in turf tries; most recent behind repeat winner Determined Lilly wasn’t bad at all
3. Louise Brooks	In good form now

RACE 3

2. One Tough Dame	Slips into odd condition by a couple days; defeated better two back and makes first start in hard-hitting Arriagada barn
6. Gia’s Fuego	Big effort in latest when sole survivor of three-prong speed battle
1. Boca Royalty	Sat perfect trip in two back when rider had a ton of horse; good follow-up

11. Vino From Ernies	Breeding says turf is the correct answer; lone try on synthetic was a near-miss second behind Everland, who won the Bourbonette Oaks three starts later
8. Fire At Midnight	Useful season bow over soft ground
7. Canny Land	Five-wide on the turn in good-looking maiden score that’s produced two next-out graduates
12. La Crema	Ran on a bit late in first try versus winners

RACE 5

6. Baby Dukes	Followed sharp debut with a not half-bad try in the G3 Sanford at the Spa; outside draw a positive here
1. Golden Cookie	Got a little late on him in debut but he had enough to secure the win; show horse graduated next out
2. Noble Force	Flashy debut score; passes on this weekend’s Sorority for this spot

RACING NOTES

Make it two straight for the ultra-speedy Payout Ratio, who won in typical front-running fashion Thursday, winning by 1 1/2 lengths in 1:40.23 for 1 mile 70 yards on the turf after throwing down early fractions of 22.66 and 45.91. Francisco Martinez was in the irons for trainer Miguel Vera…

5. Happy Cat	First start since mid-June comes in a surprisingly tough heat
7. The Colora Kid	Two next-out stakes winners from most recent tilt, including winner Smithwick’s Spice, who won the Select at MTH; this one tried that rival into the stretch but could not match strides
13. Le Griffon	Keeps running good races

RACE 7

7. Big Dreamer	Speed of the speed gets favorable draw and should make it four straight
6. Wise Miss	Good-looking return from the sidelines when galloping in latest
1. Honor Cat	First start in productive Compton barn
