RACING NOTES

  • Jockeys Marshall Mendez and Arnaldo Bocachica each won twice on the Thursday card.
  • No Change was a DNF last time out in the Confucius Say in April but returned running last night, winning an allowance/optional claimer by five lengths to win for the 16th time and move past $500,000 in earnings.
  • Last year’s 2yo champion WV-bred colt, Jubawithatwist, made it three straight wins with a dominant allowance score Thursday.
  • Friday’s third race is the first 2yo contest of the year at Charles Town, a 4 1/2-furlong dash for fillies.

4. Moon FallHas run well at the trip and mostly kept better company

    6.”Grumpy’s Buddy”may “Neverfold”but I’ll get bold and give”Sugar Lips”a kiss.

    7.”I’lltakecareofit”is more fit but that”Vagabond Virgin”may still come in.
