Just when you think things might be getting better? BTW, so many parts of the 10 Year deal were ignored, why does everyone insist on saying it governed MD Racing?

Why do people say the 10-year deal governed Md. racing? Because the basic structure the 10-year deal created – the track operator guaranteeing a minimum number of days and the horsemen/breeders “buying” additional days – brought a decade of peace to Maryland racing, which, given the contentious history (and present), was a pretty remarkable achievement.
