Race #1 Picks: 3-4-5-6

Race #2 Picks: 2-1-5-4

Race #3 Picks: 6-5-3-8

Race #4 Picks: 12-10-6-8

Race #5 Picks: 9-3-4-1

Race #6 Picks: 5-3-8-4

In this optional claiming/starter allowance race at one mile, #5 Rhumjar (7-2) was claimed last out at Monmouth. Trainer Jesus Cruz wins at a 25% clip in 24 tries in first after the claim. He has been working well, and his speed figures make him a top contender here. #3 Union Fleet (5-2) has been running well this year for a high-percentage trainer. He was the beaten favorite in last two tries, but is still a top competitor in this event. #8 Heffner (6-1) has been running well since being claimed on July 30 and seldom runs a bad race. Should be right in the mix with this group. #4 My Man Vito (5-1) won two-in-a row before a 90-day layoff. If he races back to the form he had before the break he will be in the mix.

Race #7 Picks: 7-6-9-2

In this optional claiming/starter allowance race at about 7 ½ furlongs on the turf, #7 Ghostlyprince (5-1) has been facing tougher in New York. Tried a sprint a Laurel and is now stretching out where he seems more comfortable.  He will be passing tired horses late, and we think he will have enough to win. #6 Van Dusen (6-1) won a maiden race impressively at Colonial with a 75 speed figure. He should improve off that effort and looks like a top contender here. He will also have Jaime Rodriguez on top, which can only help. #9 Tap Em (3-1) is an also eligible and has been sprinting on the turf at Monmouth. Was sharp and looked like he wanted more ground in last. #2 Lying Jeff (6-1) has some decent races at this distance on the turf at Delaware and figures to be able to compete with these.

Race #8 Picks: 7-4-2-3
