Race #1 Picks: 3-5-7-6

Race #2 Picks: 5-3-2-4

Race #3 Picks: 6-5-1-9

In this $16,000 claiming race for fillies and mares at 5 ½ furlongs, #6 My Boss (6-1) is dropping to the lowest level of her career. She has been working very fast and seems to be in a good spot. It’s slightly worrying that the connections are willing to sell her for $16,000, but they may see this race as an easy score.  #5 Maestria (5-2) loves Delaware Park with two wins, one second, and one third in four tries. This speedster will be setting the pace and the others will be chasing early. #1 Rosy Apple (7-2) has three wins in thirteen starts and fits well with these. Beat a couple other horses in this race last time out and should be considered. #9 Miss Betty (4-1) has a lot of upside potential and is in the hands of a good trainer. Should be in the mix.

Race #4 Picks: 1-5-6-3

Race #5 Picks: 5-7-9-12

Race #6 Picks: 1A-3-4-6

In this $16,000 optional claiming race for N2L at one mile and 70 yards, which is basically a first-level allowance, #1A Clubman (7-5) has been somewhat inconsistent of late, which is a bit of a concern. However he has been working very fast, and a break for a horse with 58 starts might not be a bad thing. This will be his first try on the Delaware oval under Jamie Ness, and we have him on top. #3 Under the Radar (5-1) is taking a significant drop. He has not won in a long time, but his speed figures say he should be competitive at this level.  #4 Omati (6-5) has been away for a year. He has been working well, and if he runs back to last year’s form he will be a top contender. However, we need to see a race before we go all in on this one. #6 Branco Maria (10-1) has some decent starts this year and could get in the mix.

Race #7 Picks: 1-9-3-8

Race #8 Picks: 3-1-7-4
