In this starter/optional claiming race for fillies and mares at 7 ½ furlongs on the turf, #7 Thisnameisokay (9-2) has won two-in-a-row and should be able to win again today. The seven week break after a tough race in last should help her run a big one again today. #6 Current Situation (7-2) can run on any surface including dirt, turf and synthetic.  Has two wins in seven tries on the turf and should be in the mix today. #4 Glossamer (10-1) gave a very strong effort against $16,000 claimers to win in last. Looking to repeat that race and compete against this group.

Race #7 Picks: 5-7-3-2

In this optional claiming/starter allowance race for fillies and mares at 5 ½ furlongs, #5 Awesome Birdie (4-1) ran a decent race in last. Now coming back in second race since a long break and she should improve. We think she will have enough to top this weak field. #7 My Coralena (3-1) has had some decent races at Parx this summer and fits well here. She should be in the mix and make an impact today.  #3 Fabs (6-1) has looked very impressive in her young racing career. If she can run those races back she will be competitive today.  #2 Maestria (2-1) has some decent races in her record and could be competitive if she repeats one of those.
