Belmont winner Mo Donegal sidelined with injury

Mo Donegal, who emerged as America’s leading 3-year-old with a dominant victory in the Belmont Stakes (G1), came out of New York’s 1 1/2-mile Triple Crown finale with bone bruising and will be out of training for 60 days.

The son of Uncle Mo, Mo Donegal has won four of seven starts while earning $1.5 million, including victories in the Remsen at 2 and this year’s Wood Memorial and the Belmont Stakes.
