RACE NUMBERCONTENDERSCOMMENTS
Race 66-4-1-5In this allowance contest, we’ll give the nod to Penn shipper #6 Anna Rocks (6-1). The Flint Stites trainee broke her maiden over the strip and took a nice step forward when second last out; the three-turn journey looks to agree with her… #4 Tayler’s Chrome (2-1) ran a clunker last out, but her prior try, in a Laurel allowance, was plenty good enough to win here… The late-running #1 Song of Honor (10-1) won easily last out and seems to be moving in the right direction for trainer Claudio Gonzalez; this’ll be her first visit to the Mountain State… #5 Golden Grant (5-2) dropped down to the $10,000 level to win last out in her second off the claim for second-leading trainer Farrior…
Race 72-1-5-6Top choice #2 Martin Man (7-2) has spent his last two starts looking at the hind quarters of the undefeated Muad’dib, so he should be pretty relieved to find an easier crowd to hang with. He ran huge to be second last out at 46-1 in the A Huevo… #1 Northern Ridge (15-1) was up the track in the A Huevo but has some good tries, locally and elsewhere, on the page… #5 Ishihara (2-1) defeated similar last out, has won two straight, and will likely go off the favorite… One of his beaten rivals last out was #6 Irish Meadow (5-2), who went off 2-5, had a bit of a troubled trip, and could not get by…

    6th.I like “Tayler’s Chrome”to get home
but will sing a”Song Of Honor”if he comes along,
and don’t think”Golden Grant”can’t get in the mix.

    7th.I’ll take a stand against”Martin Man”but will
agree with thee that”Northern Ridge”could bridge
the gap and”Moonlit Night”could get right into the Tri.

6th.I throw a rock at Frock,
his horse ran like a rock but
my other two made a nice exacta.

8th.I won’t take a quick exit with “Quick Entry”
maybe”Padrino’s Heart”can get the big part.
But I wouldn’t bet on it.
