With a mix of snow, sleet, and rain hitting the Mid-Atlantic hard, the region’s two tracks originally scheduled to run Wednesday evening both have canceled.

Penn National, originally scheduled for a 6:00 p.m. first post, and Charles Town Races (7:00 p.m.) announced the cancellations via Twitter. Both tracks are currently scheduled to return to action Thursday evening with their normal post times.

Live racing from both Penn National Race Course and Charles Town has been cancelled for tonight, Wednesday, Feb 20 due to winter weather. Racing scheduled to resume tomorrow from both tracks. @HollywoodPenn @RaceCharlesTown @PA_HBPA @HollywoodRaces @CTHBPA
