A community’s support

Jockey Jenn Miller suffered a scary injury in December at Charles Town, suffering bleeding on the brain, a severe concussion, and a broken jawbone. The support of folks in the racing industry, though, was nothing short of inspiring, Frank Vespe wrote.

Jockey Trevor McCarthy, injured in May, decided that when he returned to riding, he’d do so in New York, Doug McCoy reported. McCarthy had four mounts at Aqueduct prior to the New Year, winning with one.
