On Wednesday at Delaware Park, Journey Home, a runner whose recent forays into graded stakes company hadn’t gone so well, found her winning form again in the $50,000 Christiana Stakes on the turf.
This afternoon’s $50,000 Light Hearted Stakes offers the same opportunity to a couple of sophomore fillies on the main track. Post time for the Light Hearted, which goes off as race seven, is 4:15 p.m.

Modacious (3-1) is another runner who’s found tough sledding against graded foes. She finished fourth and fifth earlier this year in a pair of Grade 2 tries at Gulfstream Park, the Davona Dale and the Gulfstream Park Oaks, but in her last race, she thrashed allowance rivals at Parx by over seven lengths. The John Servis trainee will have Frankie Pennington up.
Rounding out the field are Analyze (8-1), who broke her maiden last out in her sixth career start, and Teresa Z (10-1), most recently second in a Monmouth allowance. Sine Wave, Dancing Rags, and Tapa Tapa Tapa are all scratched.
