The Racing Biz has been named one of the world’s top 60 websites and blogs for horse racing enthusiasts, a list released March 1.

The list was compiled by Feedspot, which describes itself as a “Modern RSS Reader” which “allows you to put all of your reading in one location.” See the full list here.

Though the list is heavy on European sites, the overall top site named is that of the Blood-Horse magazine (www.bloodhorse.com). Only five US-based sites were more highly rated than The Racing Biz.

The criteria employed in compiling the list were:

• Google reputation and Google search ranking
• Influence and popularity on Facebook, twitter and other social media sites
• Quality and consistency of posts.
• Feedspot’s editorial team and expert review
