From a Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course release

Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course is pleased to announce the promotion of Jenny Bowman to the position of Racing Secretary. Jenny fills the role left vacant with the retirement of David Bailey, and she joins Georganne Hale and Alison De Luca as among the few women to occupy this vital position at a major race track.

Ms. Bowman has been a member of the Racing Office since 2007, serving in numerous roles in the racing operation including Outrider, Horsemen’s Bookkeeper, Paddock Judge, Placing Judge, and Horse Identifier. Most recently she had served as Bailey’s Assistant Racing Secretary since late 2012.

“We are excited and proud to promote someone from within the racing operation. Jenny’s hard work and dedication make her a valuable asset” said Eric Johnston, Director of Racing Operations. “Jenny has earned the respect and support of our horsemen and will work closely with the group as we continue to grow and improve the racing product”.
