Starting Wednesday, December 18, Laurel Park will sweeten the pot of its Jackpot Pick 5 wager.

The Jackpot Pick 5 — which pays out in its entirety only if there is one single ticket with all five winners — will pay a guaranteed minimum of $200,000 to one winner.  The Jackpot Pick 5 is a 50-cent wager.

Laurel had offered a $100,000 guarantee on the bet through Saturday, when several people hit a relatively favorite-heavy wager for a $1,500 payout.  At the close of Saturday’s card, the Pick 5 carryover exceeded $100,000.
