It wasn’t one of the top races of the day.  Just a starter handicap — nothing glamorous here.

But Chris Miccio, co-owner, with his wife Cindy, of Maryland Million Distaff Starter Handicap winner Vianney Lane summed up what a lot of racing people were thinking Saturday.  “We’ve been doing the Maryland Million for many years,” he said.  “We really want to support the Maryland Million. It’s important for racing in this state.”

    Thank you Racing Biz. I missed the MM this year (my niece and nephew were in town) but I look forward to next year since we have an MD bred Not for Love filly who we hope will run!
