If you are a backstretch employee, work on a Thoroughbred farm or with an equine vet clinic in Maryland, and you are enrolled in school this fall, you may qualify for financial assistance.

The Maryland Racing Media Association (MRMA)  will award scholarships to deserving students seeking financial assistance to further their studies.  The program typically awards a total of between $20,000 and $30,000 in scholarship moneys.

Grade point average, involvement in the racing and breeding industries, and recommendations from employers are among the factors that the MRMA will consider in making their choices.
