Immortal Eyes holds the Charles Town track record at 4 1/2 furlongs.  Warrioroftheroses is in the early stages of his career, with just 10 starts to date.

But these two Damon Dilodovico trainees bunked side-by-side at Pimlico Preakness weekend, when both ran in the G3 Maryland Spring Handicap.  Jeff Krulik caught up with them — and with Damon’s wife Chris.  Turns out these are horses with some personality.  Maybe too much.

 

Warrior ran fourth on that day, and Immortal Eyes was fifth.  Warrior ran back this past Thursday at Monmouth and came in a close third, while Immortal Eyes most recently breezed three furlongs at Bowie on Saturday morning.
